Mechanical Development

X2E designs and produces complete housings for your device; from the basic development and the construction of your design up to serial production. We also offer different housing concepts which already have been proven over the years, including a unique adaptable customer wishes.

CNC Milling

The X2E GmbH produces elaborate and sophisticated aluminium front and rear panels for data loggers and car PCs. Here, state-of-the-art milling machines for small series and prototypes are used. Our electronic development department needs prototype circuit boards and mechanical samples. With our automatic machines, they then can be milled by means of image recognition with a positioning accuracy of 0.25µm.

The following parameters are supported:

Single- or double-sided circuit boards with 5 µm, 18 µm or 35µm copper layer
Working area 290x220mm
Smallest drill diameter 0.2mm (8mil)
Minimum isolation distance 0.2mm (8mil), in theory also 0.15mm (4mil) possible.
